:: ROAR ::
Before setting off to TJ, we met up with the group in SD, led by Chris Preitauer from the Gathering Place church in San Diego.
Before we left, Brandon Lee gave quick teaching on how to heal the sick. He hit on knowing your authority in Jesus, and that just like a police doesn’t hesitate to arrest a criminal, a Christian who knows his/her authority in Jesus doesn’t hesitate to arrest the works of the devil (1 Jn 3:8).
He also hit on the point that Jesus’ name is not a magic word (the power of healing is not in the act of saying “in Jesus’ name”). The power is in the act of Christians who come in His name to do what He did by His power that lives inside of them.

After our group huddle, we split up into vans and set off for the border. We cross the border and end up in a magical taco shop where we had some heaven-sent tacos. Then we set off for the church. We also prayed for a few people on the streets before service started.
Marc, Carmen, Carlos, and I went after this man with a cane whose right side was partially paralyzed. With Carlos translating, I spoke life into his body and told everything to be aligned with heaven. There wasn’t any apparent physical difference, but he said he felt tingling in his legs, and Carlos felt something pop in his wrist. We invited him to the church service, but he said had to go home.

The church service had the usual worship and message, and then ministry time! A good three quarters of the room came up for prayer. There were so many miracles and God encounters going on in the room - I only recorded the ones I can remember or was a part of. A compilation of all the stories is in progress.
By the end of the night, I was so tired, but was jumping around like Tigger cause God is so good. And He loves them so much. And it’s just the best thing to watch Heaven smacking earth.

1. Healing & Providence: The first lady I prayed for had a baby girl who had excretory problems. (painful going to the bathroom and not very often). She had tears streaming down her eyes the whole time. I commanded the sickness and the root of the problem to go. I assured her that her daughter will be fine, since Jesus has crushed sickness. And because we live in Him and He lives in us, it is also under our feet. After that, she told us that her husband recently left and she was struggling a lot emotionally and financially b/c of it. I paraphrased Matthew 6:25-33 and told her to not worry but to trust that God is her provider. He knows her needs and He loves them very much. Then I gave her a big long hug.
2. Son set free from lies: The church’s drummer guy (teenager) who wanted to know God more, how to seek and serve Him. I sensed that he was striving to reach or please God, so I declared that God is already pleased with him even before he does anything, and that his performance does not affect God’s approval of him. He seemed to be receptive to this truth and I just watched Holy Spirit rock his heart. I love seeing teens get freed from that kind of performance mindset.
3. The lame walk: Elderly lady with a cane. She broke both her legs 15 years ago and had a bunch of back problems. I told her legs to be strengthened and everything to be made new in Jesus’ name. told her to test it out, and she started to walk without her cane! I forgot how much % better it got, but she said she was good. :)
4. The blind see: Woman who came in only seeing 40%. I joined in after Chris prayed for her, and she could see at 80%. But then her neck/shoulders started hurting really bad. We told that to leave, but the pain traveled to her head. I suddenly remembered something Brandon said about the spirit of infirmity in his blog post (that if the pain gets worse or moves around it’s usually a spirit, not just physical pain). So I commanded the spirit of infirmity to leave, and the pain in her head left!
Then Chris did some on-the-spot discipleship and taught her how to exercise her authority over sickness in Jesus’ name. She put her hands over her eyes and claimed her healing, following Chris’ lead. Then she opened her eyes, blinked a few times, and said, “it’s good! A hundred percent!” WAHAHHAA
Here is footage of the win. =]

On the way back, we also prayed for some people who were trying to sell us stuff on the border. Not much instant results, but at least got to talk with some of them. :)
So I’ve been on this journey of learning and walking in supernatural healing for two years now, but I’ve never seen so many healings up close personally.
The spiritual atmosphere in TJ was so clear. The people in there were so hungry for God and so spiritually receptive that the Kingdom just flowed. They are all so reliant on God for life and peace – which is more or less covered in the muck of self-reliance and independence in the States.
