This is what I realized when I was still in high school:
If I can influence one person, there’s no telling how they will influence another person because of what I have done… and that person they influence, I have no idea how many they will influence.
A few people down the line, who knows? I might be influencing the next Steve Jobs, the next Jeremy Lin, the next President, the person that starts an organization that ends sex trafficking…
So I gave myself to influence anyone around me who valued what I had to say. Even if people don’t value me, I’ll live loud enough for them to still feel the impact.
That’s how you can change the world without actually trying to change the world.
Just start with the people around you.
